Elizabeth Fraser is an author, bagpiper and newspaper reporter in Fredericton, New Brunswick. When she isn’t splashing through seasonal floods or chasing down post-tropical storms, she can be found writing stories, lots of stories.
She has a heart for writing and an even bigger heart for people.
At 17, Fraser attended a Pittsburgh Penguins game where she made eye contact with Sidney Crosby. Her favourite book is the Paper Bag Princess and if she could be any grammatical symbol, it would be the exclamation mark! She loves running, flossing her teeth, blogging and believes coffee should be its own food group.
Fraser originally hails from Pine Falls (the middle of nowhere), Manitoba and graduated with a diploma in Journalism from Red River College. In Manitoba, Fraser worked for the Winnipeg Free Press and the Pine Falls Golf Club as a beer cart girl. She also graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and French from St. Thomas University.
When the prairie girl grows up, she hopes to become the Taylor Swift of journalism. That’s what people say…
But most importantly, she strives to love the unloveable.
